Tonight I was so proud of the ladies that attended my first “I Love MY Body” fitness class. These ladies came ready to work out. What really made me feel good was most of the first class was there waiting on me when I arrived…now that’s impressive. Also, for them to sign up, pay online and turn in their medical release all without having to be reminded several times exemplified to me that these women are serious about changing their body image.
The dedication of the ladies prompted me the write this blog to encourage some of you that want to workout but just haven’t committed to it yet. Having determination, thrive, and thirst are 3 key ingredients when it comes to working- out. Yes it will be hard when you first start but always remember that change doesn’t happen over night. Some days will be harder than others, but make up your mind and determined not to quit. Consistency is the key to results. Plus you will love what you see.
What drives you? What’s your motivation? Keep it at the forefront of your mind when working out. I’ve even brought clothing items in a smaller size on purpose and kept it on the door of my closet to remind me of why I was working-out so hard. Another thing that helped keep me motivated was a old picture of myself. I would keep in on the refrigerator so that when I wanted something that was not healthy I had to look at that photo. Trust me you’ll quickly change your mind on the food you were going to eat.
My thirst and passion for heath and fitness has started me on a road that I know will be life changing for women. If it only affects one person then I am satisfied. I absolutely love teaching and inspiring women how to make health conscious food choices while enhancing their physical appearance through exercise producing the I Love MY Body attitude. Will you be next?
Enjoy your workout!
Strange, your website shows up with a red hue to it, what color is the main color on your site?
There are so many things connected to aerobics, it had become this big industry. The funny thing I heard is a walk for 30 minutes a day is great and does really good for the body.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

Nice lookin blog. Thanks for the info, I look forward to more.
being of course out-of-shape and a remedial pt instructor/grader long ago in the military, last night’s class took me back for a minute.TOTALLY HYPED!!! took me back to a time when your peers and your instructor was your total motivation.you had to push to do your best, if not for yourself, for your peers. seeing everyone doing their best and not giving up was so rewarding! Lamonica’s style is absolutely awesome!!!the Lord has truly blessed her in this area (one of her many callings). just looking at her physique is so encouraging. she is the live example of possibilities. the environment was so warm and accepting. i am hurting sooo good right now trying to prepare for tomorrow’s class. Kudos to the “21-day lady” for inspiring us to wake up, open up, and explore our potential to love our bodies. and please let me not forget the ultimate”cheerleader” DJ-sometimes thats all the push someone needs is for someone to cheer them on. thanks so much.i’m going to tell all of my friends and family to get on board for the next sessions! LOOKING FORWARD TO LOVING MY BODY AGAIN AFTER 40!!
Last nights class was…..AWESOME!!!! It was good to see women coming together for one common goal. The grunts, the laughter and the determination all went hand in hand. We’re all in the fitness class to better ourselves and we’re well on our way with the 21 Day Lady – Ms. LaMonica. Thanks again Monica for your inspiration, time and dedication to teaching all of us women on how to love our body.
