2010 Is Just Around the Corner…Are you Ready?

Wow 2009 is almost over.  Can you believe how fast this year went? I can remember January 09 like it was yesterday. I must say that this has been a wonderful year for me! I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy.  I don’t want to sound as if I didn’t have any trials, Lord knows I did. This year was filled with ups and downs but far more ups than downs. I learned alot about myself when it came to dealing with friends and family and how to love from a distance rather than not loving at all.

 As I write this blog I am truly thankful to all the ladies that have allowed me the opportunity to share with them my passion for health and fitness.  Seeing the students on the 21 Day Health and Fitness Challenge overcome some bad eating habits and make life style changes is a great feeling. There were women that started out on the program on fire and ready to make the change, but somehow all the excitement and fire for the change went away :-( .  And then there where ladies that had really considered making a life style change but just didn’t know where to start.  Since 2009 will soon be behind us I have some questions for you…

Are you ready for 2010? Are you truly tried of being unhappy with your body image? How about not having enough energy throughout the day?  Have you already started to make resolutions on some things you’re going to change? If so, that’s great and I applaud you. You’re at least thinking about things that you and only you know need to be modified. As we move into a new year let me help you with making the adjustments and sticking to them.

In order to be successful in 2010 there are some basic things you need to do.

  1. Write down your goals
  2. Have a plan on how you’re going to obtain those goals
  3. Have a support system (someone you  can be accountable too)
  4. Be consistent
  5. Reward yourself when you accomplish a goal then set a new goal
  6. Do self evaluations
  7. Become a student of 21 Days To My Healthy Body Fitness Challenge :-)

 I have always believed that there is no failure when you put forth some kind of effort in accomplishing a goal or task. Take the rest of 2009 and seriously think about what you want for your life, whether it’s to lose weight, get a new job, or even find a mate. Whatever it is YOU hold the power to make 2010 the best year of your life.
